Ghana: Amend CI 127 to respond to challenges with electoral process …FMI urges EC

The Frim­pong-Manso Institute (FMI), a civil organisa­tion, is urging the Electoral Commission (EC) to “carefully consider rolling out a credible and reliable strategy” for the collation of election results with minimum delays.

“The EC must also amend CI 127 which regulates the conduct of presidential and parliamentary elections to respond to challeng­es and help improve the electoral process,” the FMI said in a state­ment copied to the Ghanaian Times.
