The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has made a pledge to the people of Ghana: if the party wins the 2024 general elections, it will thoroughly investigate and recover all the funds that were invested in the failed Agyapa Royalties deal. The NDC’s National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, expressed the party’s determination to ensure that those involved in the Agyapa deal would not evade justice. The party has promised to investigate the $12 million Agyapa scam and recover any illegal payments made as a result. Perpetrators of the scheme will face prosecution under the next NDC government, Gyamfi vowed.

He stated that the only way to uncover and address the litany of corrupt acts and scandals involving government officials is for the citizens to remove the NPP from power in the December 7, 2024 election.
