At least 1,230 hectares of forest plantation across three communi­ties in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region have been re­stored as part of the Ghana Land­scape Restoration and Small-Scale Mining Project (GLRSSMP).

The communities are Dwere­bease, Hyewohoden, and Aseseso.
