Gambia: Woman Faces Assault Charges Before Kanifing Court –

A woman from Bakoteh on Tuesday appeared before the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.

Jainaba Faye was alleged to have poured hot oil on her employee, inflicting serious injuries.

The accused was arraigned before Magistrate Awa Manneh on a charge preferred under Section 196 of the Criminal Offences Act, relating to assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
