In a significant stride toward institutionalizing child rights advocacy and education in The Gambia, UNICEF and the University of The Gambia (UTG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Child Rights Centre at UTG. The signing ceremony, held on Thursday, 19th June 2025, at NaNA Conference Hall, Bakau marked a milestone in promoting academic leadership, evidence-generation, and student engagement on child rights at a national level.
