A Tunisian national, Yassin Muhammad has been remanded at the Mile II Central Prison by the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court pending the determination of his bail application at the High Court in Banjul.
Muhammad is facing a charge of possession of prohibited drugs for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to Section 43 (1) (a) of the Drug Control Act 2003, Laws of The Gambia.
