Spain has joined The Gambia’s Cinekambia International Film Festival for the first time as the event opened its sixth edition at the University of The Gambia (UTG) in Kanifing.

The five-day festival, organised under the theme “Authentic African Storytelling Through Film and Cinema,” seeks to expose students, filmmakers, and diplomats to diverse cultural perspectives through cinema.
