A Senegalese woman, Zainaba Njie, appeared before the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, charged with stealing property valued at more than three million dalasis in the Kanifing Municipality.

Njie, who was unrepresented, pleaded not guilty to the charge before Magistrate Awa Manneh, claiming she took only a few of the items listed by the prosecution.
