Gambia: Saudi Fund Provides Additional $10 Million for Greater Banjul Roads Project

  The Government of The Gambia has secured an additional US$10 million from the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) to finance the ongoing Greater Banjul Roads Project, according to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs.

The additional financing agreement was signed during a visit by SFD President Sultan Ben Abdulrahman Al-Marshad and his delegation to The Gambia from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1, 2026.
