The nationwide football bonanza has come to a temporary halt during the holy month of Ramadan after an intense competition that captivated audiences across the country. Tournament coordinator Ebrima Manneh commended the 60 participating teams, regional officials, and stakeholders like the Gambia Football Federation for their commitment and support towards the successful organization of the competition.
Presidential Adviser and chairman of the organizing committee, Saihou Mballow, highlighted that the tournament was initiated by President Barrow with the aim of promoting peace and unity among the Gambian people through the platform of football.
