Lamin Manneh of Brikama Jalamba appeared before Magistrate I.O. Njie on Thursday, charged with a single count of rape, contrary to Section 3(13) of the Sexual Offences Act 2013.
The accused was not represented by legal counsel. Sergeant J. Preirra appeared on behalf of the Inspector General of Police.
