Gambia: GPF Dismisses Officer Over Impersonation, Fraud –

The Gambia Police Force (GPF) has dismissed PC 9760 Sanna Mballow following an investigation into an attempted fraudulent withdrawal at the Brikama Police Cooperative Credit Union.

The decision was announced on Friday, 14th November 2025.

According to the investigation, PC Mballow attempted to access another member’s account by impersonating them. His actions were quickly detected by credit union staff, and he was immediately apprehended and handed over to the police…
