The Gambia Immigration Department (GID) reported on Monday that it has received 27 Gambian migrant returnees from Mauritania.
According to the department, the returnees were received at the Amdalai Immigration Border Post on 4 May 2025, escorted by Mr. Saikouba Jarjou, deputy head of mission in Mauritania.
