The National Assembly Member for Banjul North, Hon. Modou Lamin B. Bah, has been elected Chairperson of the Network of African Parliamentary Committees of Health (NEAPACOH), placing The Gambia at the helm of the continental health oversight body.
His election was confirmed at the 17th Annual General Meeting and Conference of the Network of African Parliamentary Committees of Health (NEAPACOH), held in Lusaka, Zambia, from Feb. 25 to 27, 2026.
