A squad of over 100 athletes and officials from The Gambia is set to represent their country at the 2023 African Games in Accra, Ghana. Organized by the National Sport Council (NSC), this delegation will compete in a wide range of sports including athletics, swimming, judo, taekwondo, beach volleyball, indoor volleyball, wrestling, and football (specifically, the U20 team). This marks the largest Gambian contingent ever to participate in any sporting event, emphasizing the country’s commitment to athletic excellence.
