Brikama Magistrates’ Court yesterday convicted and sentenced Kalilu Trawally of Brikama Town to pay a fine and compensation of D27,000 after pleading “guilty” to theft charges.
Magistrate K.B. Sambou, the presiding magistrate, ruled that Trawally should pay a fine of D5,000, and in default, he would face imprisonment of two months.
