  Gambian President Adama Barrow received Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Ayokor Botchwey at the State House in Banjul, where they discussed ways to deepen cooperation and strengthen engagement.

The talks reviewed progress in relations between The Gambia and the Commonwealth of Nations, while identifying priority areas for further collaboration, including human rights, migration management and the proposed establishment of a diplomatic academy.
