An 18-year-old boy from Brikama Gidda has been remanded at Mile II Central Prison after appearing before the Brikama Magistrates’ Court on charges of assault and threatening violence against members of his family.

The accused, Kawsu Drammeh, appeared on Tuesday, 30 December 2025, before Magistrate Kanjura B. Sambou, where he was charged with two counts under the Criminal Offences Act, 2025. He was not represented by counsel.
