Banjul Mayor Rohey Malick Lowe, a member of the United Democratic Party (UDP), has reaffirmed her loyalty to the party amid circulating speculation that she might join the National People’s Party (NPP).
In an interview with West Coast Radio on Tuesday, Ms. Lowe dismissed claims of a possible defection. “They have been saying that I will leave the party, and they are the ones who left,” she said, referring to former UDP members who recently departed.
