The Gambia Bakers Union has, over the weekend, held its first elective congress for positions of executives who would steer the affairs of the union in the next three years.
Amadou Tijan Jallow was elected unopposed in the position of president. He vowed to fight against the challenges faced by the members of his union and work to resolve the issues.
