The Minister of Culture, Youth, Sports, and Arts, Dr. André-Jacques Augand, accompanied by his colleague from the civil service, Louise Boukandou Moussavou, visited the National Institute of Youth and Sports (INJS) today to inquire about the progress of the correction of the entrance exam held on February 3rd.
“The exam went well overall, we have set up joint committees with the civil service. I can reassure you that things are going well and will continue to go well,” Augand reassured.
Aware of the importance that President of the Transition, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, places on these various exams which will allow many young people to establish themselves professionally, the Ministers boosted the morale of the teams and demanded quality work to ensure that the results are published within the required time frame. The correctors, who are working diligently, reassured the two government members who want to take control to avoid any potential disputes over the results.
The entrance exam for the National Institute of Youth and Sports had over 5,000 internal and external candidates. The results are expected to be known by the end of March.
Recently, candidates who failed the National Police Force exam strongly contested the results. They suspect possible manipulation of the results. According to them, unseen hands at all levels may have excluded candidates who took the exam in favor of others who may not have even participated in a test.
