The inclusive national dialogue (DNI) effectively got to the heart of the matter on Monday, with the start of work in committees and sub-committees at the Sino-Gabonese cooperation stage in Angondjé. The work methodology and the different topics to be addressed, as well as useful information, are gradually being disseminated and discussed by the various committee leaders.

Taking stock of this first day of work, the spokesperson of the dialogue, Bishop Jean Bernard Asseko Mve, on behalf of the bureau of the said session, said, “rejoice that the commissioners are approaching the work with serenity, dedication, courtesy, and mutual respect”.

This means that the work has indeed been launched, as noted by the Minister of Institutional Restoration, Murielle Minkoué Mezui, who toured the “owner” in the afternoon, accompanied by the bureau of the session led by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Libreville, Bishop Jean Patrick Iba-Ba.

The organizers reviewed all twelve (12) sub-committees overseen by the three (3) committees set up around the poles of political, economic, and social governance.

On this occasion, the commissioners did not fail to draw the attention of the Minister of Institutional Restoration to some concerns, including the inadequacy of rooms and the desired improvement of working amenities: tables, chairs, and various supplies.

The government member, attentive to the commissioners’ requests, promised to take corrective measures in the shortest possible time, not forgetting to remind everyone of the many legitimate expectations of the Gabonese people at the end of the reflection and design work of the Gabon of tomorrow that falls to them.

According to the operational work schedule, the general report of the inclusive national dialogue must be validated and adopted between April 25 and 27, before being officially submitted to the president of the transition on April 30, 2024, the closing date of these sessions during an official ceremony planned at the Palais des Sports in Libreville.
