A total of five hundred and forty-two (542) delegates designated by decree of the President of the transition, dated March 26, 2024.

It can be noted from this list that the CTRI (64 delegates), the senior administration, including members of the government, secretaries, and inspectors general of ministries (40 representatives), and special, departmental, and communal delegations (100 delegates) represent 37.03% of the designated participants, totaling 204 delegates.

The transitional parliament (national assembly and senate, 10) and the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (5) send 15 representatives.

Women’s associations (15), youth organizations (15), NGOs (5), and religious congregations (20) provide a contingent of 55 representatives.

Artists (10), artisans (5), cultural and traditional movements (10), and diasporas (22) account for a total of 47 delegates.

Employers’ organizations (10), trade unions (10), professional orders (10), the education sector (10), and the academic world (10),

The judiciary (10), as well as the group of civilian and military retirees (10), secure 70 seats.

As for the groups of wise men and dignitaries of the republic (18), persons living with disabilities (8), pygmy communities (8), and other participants (6), they end up with a total of 40 delegates.

Finally, legally recognized political parties (104) are, as previously stipulated, represented by one delegate each.

Many of them have recently spoken out against the criteria for selecting their delegates and boycotted the “meager portion” of the quotas reserved for them.

The leaders of the political parties have also overwhelmingly questioned the conditions for preparing for the upcoming dialogue.

The works of the inclusive, non-sovereign national dialogue will take place from April 2 to 30, 2024, at the Sino-Gabonese cooperation stadium in Angondje, in the northern suburbs of Libreville.

The opening and closing ceremonies will take place at the Libreville Sports Palace.
