The Gabonese Minister of Institutional Reform, Murielle Minkoué Mintsa, stated on Tuesday that the upcoming inclusive national dialogue expected in April will not be a popular fair.
“The inclusive national dialogue will not be a popular fair,” the minister said in response to civil society organizations and unions who claim to be marginalized or forgotten in the preparations for the dialogue.
Murielle Minkoué Mintsa explained that the popular phase ended with the conclusion of the call for contributions launched by the Transition Prime Minister, Raymond Ndong Sima, and extended by the Transition President, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma.
So far, nearly 30,000 contributions have been received, according to the minister. During the dialogue, individuals will be selected to review these contributions in order to reach an institutional framework expected within the scope of the country’s institutional reform, she further explained.
