The President of the Transition, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, discussed on Monday with the Special Delegate of the municipality of Libreville, General Judes Ibrahim Rapontchombo, the major projects planned in the municipality of Libreville, such as the construction of the future grand market of Libreville.

Oligui Nguema and his guest discussed the technical aspects that will enable the realization of this project, as indicated in a press release from the Presidency of the Republic.

Launched several years ago by the former mayor, Jean François Ntoutoume Emane, the construction works for the future grand market of Libreville had been abandoned. The chosen site of La Peyrie is now overgrown with tall grass.

During the discussions, the Head of State and the Special Delegate also addressed the project of building an administrative court at the city hall of the second arrondissement.

General Judes Ibrahim Rapontchombo briefed the President of the Transition on the earthmoving works at the city hall of the second arrondissement, which started several weeks ago.

Oligui Nguema aims to build modern infrastructure for the benefit of the population.
