The President of the Transition, President of the Republic, Head of State General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema exchanged today with the members of the national dialogue bureau led by Archbishop Jean Patrick Iba ba, Archbishop of Libreville, president of the bureau.
A few days before the holding of this major meeting which will bring together all the key players of the nation from 02 to 30 April, the Head of State wanted to review the missions assigned to each party and, at the same time, highlight the proposals necessary for the successful conduct of the dialogue.
It should be noted that this major meeting, which aims to be transparent and inclusive, will bring together 580 people who will work on the social, economic, and political concerns of the country. In addition, these meetings convened on the basis of the Transition Charter, will allow, among other things, to translate into laws the different conclusions reached during the debates.
At the end of the discussions, His Excellency General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema reaffirmed his support for the members of the national dialogue bureau. For the serenity of the work, the Head of State invited them to place the interest of the community at the center of the debates and to propose solutions adapted to national realities. “It is during the national dialogue that the new Gabon will take shape. The Gabon of tomorrow,” he declared.
Furthermore, the President of the Transition met with the personnel of the Defense and Security Forces who will take part in the national dialogue.
The Head of State was supposed to give them directives and provide details on their roadmap during these meetings at Angondjé.
