Inclusive national dialogue: Maganga Moussavou accuses the CTRI of wanting to put parties under its tutelage – Skip to content
The president of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), Pierre Claver Maganga Moussavou, reacting to the statement from the ministry responsible for institutional reform asking legally recognized political parties to submit a list of 4 members each from which representatives of the political class will be chosen for the inclusive national dialogue, accused the military of wanting to put political parties under the tutelage of the CTRI, the body that took power in Gabon on August 30, 2023. “I don’t understand this statement,” lamented the president of the PSD. The former minister under Omar Bongo and Ali Bongo deplores an ambiguous decision aimed at creating discord within political parties. Pierre Claver Maganga Moussavou believes that giving the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI) the privilege of choosing the representatives of the political class at the inclusive national dialogue is a deliberate attempt to harm political parties. They would lose control of the direction of the party that designated them, sniffed the president of the PSD known for his “big mouth.” Camille Boussoughou
