Famous Nigerian songstress, Oyinkansola Aderigbigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has bagged four nominations for the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards.
The organisers released the nominees list on Wednesday.
Ayra Starr was nominated in the ‘Best African Act’, ‘Best Push’, ‘Best Afrobeats’ and ‘Best New Artist’ categories.
Other Nigerian musicians nominated for ‘Best Afrobeats’ award are Tems, Burna Boy, Asake and Rema.
Also, South Africa’s Tyla bagged four categories including ‘Best New’, ‘Best Afrobeats’, ‘Best African Act’ and ‘Best R&B’.
