This is the second visit of a minister from the new Attal government to the Kingdom, following the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Stéphane Séjourné, which paved the way for a possible relaxation between Rabat and Paris after a severe diplomatic crisis.
Frank Riester is coming to Morocco with a busy agenda. Business and economic partnership are on the agenda. It is planned that he will meet with his Moroccan counterpart, Ryad Mezzour, before holding a working session with the Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, Mohcine Jazouli.
It is worth noting that this is not Frank Riester’s first visit to Morocco. He traveled to the Kingdom in November 2021, during which he expressed France’s willingness to build productive partnerships.
