Former Member of Parliament for Kioga County in Amolatar District and one-time national legal secretary of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has crossed to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).
Mr Moses Junior Okot Bitek abandoned the FDC on Saturday and was received at NRM party headquarters in Kampala by the party’s Secretary General, Mr Richard Todwong, alongside a delegation of former FDC members — including district leaders and former political contestants from Amolatar — who also defected to the ruling party.
