Addis Abeba– Transportation in parts of East Gojjam, as well as South and East Wollo zones in the Amhara Region, has been disrupted since Tuesday due to roadblocks reportedly imposed by Fano militants, according to residents who spoke with Addis Standard.

A resident of Debre Markos, who requested anonymity for safety reasons, said transportation came to a standstill on 10 December 2024, following directives allegedly issued by the group.
