The diplomat Estevão Tavares Vaz has been appointed as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Cape Verde to the Italian Republic, according to the presidential decree accessed by Inforpress today.
According to Presidential Decree No. 03/2024, dated March 12, the appointment of Estevão Tavares Vaz was made on the proposal of the Government.
The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for this Monday, the 25th, at the Palace of Communities and will be presided over by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Regional Integration, Rui Figueiredo Soares.
Estevão Tavares Vaz was, until recently, the Consul General of Cape Verde in Nice, France.
