Greenfield Leasing Services Limited’s Executive Vice Chairman, Jacob Erhabor, emerged victorious at the inaugural CEOs Golf Tournament sponsored by African Reinsurance Corporation at Ikoyi Club 1938’s golf section. With a handicap of 14, Erhabor accumulated a total of 40 stableford points, securing his win in the tournament by beating Olubayo Latilo on countback. Gilbert Inemesit followed closely in third place with 39 stableford points.
Following his win, Erhabor expressed his appreciation to African Reinsurance Corporation for sponsoring the event. He remarked that their involvement in golf sponsorship was long overdue and commended their support for the tournament. The competition, which attracted key figures in the insurance industry, also saw Abah Oputa clinching the top spot in the ladies category with 35 stableford points. Nomwen Emeghalu and Fatumata Coker secured second and third place, respectively.
In the Corporate Group Stableford Category, Hiltop Insurance Brokers emerged victorious with 63 points, followed closely by Guinea Insurance in second place after losing on countback. Old Mutual Life secured the third spot with 57 stableford points. The keenly contested tournament was well received by participants, with the Group Managing Director of African Reinsurance Corporation, Dr. Cornelle Karekezi, expressing satisfaction with the turnout and success of the event.
