Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) are crucial to the global economy, especially in developing nations where they form the economic backbone. In Uganda, MSMEs account for around 90 percent of the private sector, creating jobs, fostering innovation, and contributing to the GDP. 

As reflected in our Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Policy 2015, MSMEs account for more than 80 percent of our manufactured products and 70 percent of our GDP.
