President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has issued orders to enhance the performance of companies and factories under the public business sector. In a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Public Business Sector Minister Mahmoud Esmat, Presidential Spokesperson Ahmed Fahmi stated that President Sisi emphasized the importance of implementing a plan to improve the efficiency of these entities.
The President instructed for the continuation of training programs and the enhancement of human resources to elevate performance levels. He also stressed the need to develop marketing strategies for companies to increase local sales and boost exports. Moreover, President Sisi highlighted the significance of forging partnerships with the private sector to advance progress and development in Egypt.
During the meeting, President Sisi was updated on the government’s initiatives to implement a social support package aimed at assisting workers in the public business sector. This support package, which takes into consideration the laws passed by the parliament, aims to alleviate the economic burdens on citizens and mitigate the impacts of economic challenges.
Furthermore, President Sisi was informed about the government’s efforts to expedite the execution of new projects across various sectors, such as pharmaceuticals, tourism, spinning and weaving, construction, chemical industries, and electric vehicles (EVs). These projects are designed to meet local market demands and increase export rates, aligning with the state’s commitment to bolstering the national industry and promoting locally manufactured goods.
The meeting also addressed the importance of ensuring the availability of necessary resources for production and enhancing efforts to attract investment opportunities in diverse sectors and activities. President Sisi emphasized the need to capitalize on these opportunities to drive economic growth and create employment opportunities for the Egyptian population.
