On Saturday, 17th of February 2024, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly embarked on a tour of the residential neighborhood R5 in the New Administrative Capital. This neighborhood, named after the New Garden City district, resembles the design of the Garden City downtown Cairo.
Spanning 885 feddans, the district encompasses 385 apartment buildings, which house 21,494 units, along with 513 commercial units and 456 villas, according to Housing Minister Essam al-Gazar. New Garden City New Capital seamlessly blends modern and classical styles, showcasing exquisite architectural designs that bridge the past and the present. Notably, this district is spearheaded by the New Urban Communities Authority, City Edge Real Estate Company, and the Ministry of Housing.
During the visit, the Prime Minister had the opportunity to witness firsthand the progress and development taking place in the area, as well as the quality of the infrastructure and design.
