State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Salaheddin Mostafa met with State Minister for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Military Production Ministry in the New Administrative Capital. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to enhance collaboration in supporting Egyptian expatriates interested in undertaking industrial and investment projects in Egypt.
During the meeting, Mostafa expressed his praise for the consistent efforts and cooperation of the Emigration Ministry in working with the Military Production Ministry to attract global companies in various industries for potential collaboration. He also acknowledged the Emigration Minister’s support in increasing the involvement of Egyptian experts residing abroad in national projects within Egypt.
Gendi, in turn, lauded the productive and unique cooperation between the two ministries, emphasizing President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directive to leverage the expertise of Egyptian scientists and experts residing overseas to contribute to the country’s development initiatives. She highlighted the importance of supporting the state’s strategy for industrial development, technology localization, and knowledge transfer.
Both ministers reiterated their commitment to ongoing cooperation across various areas to further the interests of Egyptian expatriates and contribute to the development and advancement of Egypt.
The meeting, held in the government district in the New Administrative Capital, showcased the dedication of the Ministry of Military Production and the Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs to fostering joint efforts that benefit the Egyptian expat community and promote the country’s industrial and economic growth. The collaboration aims to create more opportunities for expatriates to engage in projects and investments that contribute to Egypt’s sustainable development.
