An official source in the North Sinai Governorate has confirmed that a substantial amount of aid has been successfully delivered to the Gaza Strip through various means. A total of 220 aid trucks, containing relief materials, medicine, medical supplies, and fuel, entered the Gaza Strip via the Rafah crossing border on Tuesday. This delivery comes as a response to the urgent need for humanitarian aid in the region.

The source further explained that the majority of the trucks (215 out of 220) were dedicated to transporting relief and humanitarian aid, including essential items such as medicines, medical supplies, and drinking water. In addition to these, three trucks carried fuel while two trucks were designated for transporting gas for home cooking purposes. This diverse array of aid demonstrates a comprehensive effort to address the various needs of the people in the Gaza Strip.

The Egyptian Red Crescent, an important humanitarian organization, has played a significant role in the aid delivery efforts. They have confirmed that 560 planes carrying aid have landed at Al-Arish International Airport since the beginning of the Gaza war. Furthermore, 51 aid ships provided by 40 Arab and foreign countries, as well as 28 regional and international organizations, have contributed to the aid delivery. The number of Egyptian trucks that have entered the Gaza Strip stands at 2,944, carrying a total of 49,751 tons of aid. Additionally, 1,302 trucks from the rest of the world have delivered 18,061 tons of aid, while international organizations have provided 4,574 trucks.
