The conclusion of the U15 African School Football Championship saw the male and female teams of the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo compete against the national teams of Congo Brazzaville in two finals held at Tata Raphaël Stadium on Saturday, March 16, 2024, under the rain.

The first match between the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo ended with a 2-1 victory in favor of the latter. The goals were scored by Ongouya Richesse and Okiele for the Congolese team from Brazzaville, while Tshinguta scored for the DRC team. At the end of the three-match series, the Brazzaville players won all three encounters, securing a final score of 3 wins to 0.

In the men’s category, an intense, technical, and balanced match ended with a victory for the Diables Rouges by the narrowest of margins, one goal to zero, scored by the team’s striker, Ikambi Merveille. The victorious women’s team received a reward of $100,000, while the DRC finished second and won $75,000. For the men’s category, Gabon finished third with a reward of $50,000, the DRC second with $75,000, and Congo first with $100,000.
