Jonathan safe-Family speaks out

Former President Goodluck Jonathan finally left troubled Guinea Bissau as tension began to mount following the coup d’état in the country on Wednesday.
There were serious concerns that Jonathan had been trapped in the country and had not been able to leave as a result of the sudden change of government by the military.
After leaving Guinea Bissau, Jonathan flew to Abidjan, the Abidjan, the economic capital and largest city of Côte d’Ivoire in a bid to connect a flight back to Nigeria.
A family source confirmed that Jonathan arrived Abidjan in the afternoon of Thursday on his way to Nigeria.
