The subject was at the center of a meeting between the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Hilmi Ege Turemen, and the president of the Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Congolese Abroad Commission of the National Assembly, Pierre Obambi.
The working session between the two personalities aimed to examine the possibilities of strengthening parliamentary diplomacy between their two countries.
“During our meeting, I shared the list of new members of the inter-parliamentary friendship group that was recently established, and we exchanged views on parliamentary cooperation between our two countries, Turkish investments, agreements in the process of ratification, and the issue related to visa exemptions, in order to strengthen our parliamentary cooperation so that it becomes more visible and active,” said Hilmi Ege Turemen.
The exchanges allowed the establishment of the foundations for bilateral cooperation in several areas. This was confirmed by Pierre Obambi, the president of the Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Congolese Abroad Commission of the National Assembly.
