The General Assembly of the Advisory Council for Youth (CCJ) ended on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the International Conference Center in Kintélé.
The President of the Republic, Denis Sassou Nguesso, participated in the closing ceremony of the CCJ General Assembly on March 4. The meeting was held under the theme: “Congolese Youth and Socio-Economic Integration in the Perspective of Sustainable Development.” The members of this institution adopted the internal regulations, identified the urgent challenges facing youth, and proposed solutions.
It was also an opportunity for these young people to express their grievances to the head of state.
“Aware that one year is not enough to meet the legitimate expectations of young people, we, the youth of Congo, ask you to decree two additional years dedicated to youth to begin to perceive more palpably the benefits of your great vision,” said Prince Michrist Kaba Mboko, executive secretary of the CCJ.
A memorandum was presented to President Denis Sassou N’Guesso, containing the conclusions of the General Assembly held at the Palais des Congrès in Brazzaville from February 28 to March 2, 2024.
