The casting for the first edition of the beauty and elegance contest called “Miss kitoko 242” will take place on March 23rd.
Who will be the very first Miss Kitoko 242? The beauty contest casting is scheduled for March 23rd in Pointe-Noire. The initiative comes from the cultural operator Chris Perphety. The future “Miss kitoko 242” will have the mission to fight against gender-based violence, promote art and culture, and contribute to valorize entrepreneurship among youth.
Candidates will have to meet specific criteria to be selected. Among others, they must be of Congolese nationality, have at least a high school level, be between 18 and 25 years old, measure at least 1.65 m, and have an entrepreneurial project.
Other criteria include being unmarried, not having children, and not having posted photos, images, or any other obscene content on social media. Candidates with tattoos and piercings will be allowed to compete with the approval of the organizing committee. They must also provide a nationality certificate or a copy of the national identity card, a duly completed and signed application form for the contest, as well as the non-refundable participation fee of 10,000 FCFA.
The prize money for the winner is 1,000,000 FCFA and the grand finale of this contest will take place on May 3rd, 2024, in Pointe-Noire.
