The collective of day laborers of the Electric Power Company of Congo (E2C) denounce fictitious recruitment of personnel.

It is a statement published on Saturday, February 24, that the collective of day laborers of the E2C expressed their discontent. They claim that out of the 258 agents recruited by E2C, 204 are day laborers and the rest are fictitious recruits. This group cries out against injustice and demands the regularization of the other day laborers.

“For years we have asked the officials of the Electric Power Company of Congo to unblock our situation. But until today, there has been no progress. Therefore, we request the intervention of the President of the Republic so that our professional situation can be resolved,” said the spokesperson of the collective of day laborers of E2C, Yvon Moussahoudi.

The day laborers propose an amicable resolution to the situation regarding their integration with the General Director of E2C. “We have served with loyalty within the E2C company. And we implore you to integrate us into the company.”
