The general assembly of the association of doctors of Congo took place on Saturday, March 2nd in the capital city, both in person and virtually. The agenda included presenting the roadmap for the year 2024, which focuses on the professional development of the profession.
“The professional development committee must work a lot this year in order to hope for an increase in doctors’ remuneration,” said the President of the Association of Doctors of Congo, Professor Richard Bileckot.
It is noted from this roadmap that in addition to the professional development committee, there is also the entrepreneurship committee which will also have a lot to do. The association’s wish is to see Congolese doctors from the diaspora, who have projects, invest in the private healthcare sector. The goal is to contribute to improving the quantity and quality of healthcare services and care, for the well-being of the population. The continuous training committee will also start functioning this year.
The roadmap for the year 2024 also includes increasing the number of memberships; strengthening the organization by improving the functioning of the structure, including a procedural manual.
