The amount was decided at the end of the fifth ordinary budget session of the CNTR, held from March 26 to April 4 in Brazzaville.
The sum of 2,735,234,092 CFA francs was decided as the budget for 2024 of the National Commission for Transparency and Accountability in Public Financial Management (CNTR). Approved in terms of revenue and expenses, this budget is an increase compared to that of 2023 which was 2,378,374,000 CFA francs.
The 2024 budget of the CNTR was adopted during the fifth ordinary budget session of the CNTR, held from March 26 to April 4 in Brazzaville. In terms of revenue, this budget includes the state subsidy, a carry-over related to the 4th quarter 2023 budget allocation paid by the Treasury at the beginning of 2024, and various other revenues, including 90 million CFA francs to be sought from the country’s technical and financial partners.
During this session, the participants also adopted the CNTR’s annual budgeted work program, the 2024 activities program, and the 2023 annual activity report.
