The World Bank is providing 463.5 billion CFA francs to the Republic of Congo to fund 12 projects.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, March 19 by the World Bank representation in the Republic of Congo. The institution will finance 12 development projects amounting to 463.5 billion CFA francs. This was revealed during the opening of the annual review of the performance of projects funded by the World Bank in Brazzaville. Compared to last year’s 344.5 billion CFA francs, there has been an increase in funding.
Ministers, partners of the World Bank group, project coordination units, as well as the private sector and civil society organizations benefiting from the projects, participated in the annual review of project performance, combined with knowledge-sharing days.
This action is part of the partnership between the Republic of Congo and the World Bank for the period 2020-2025.
