Players and officials of the Super Eagles are expressing concerns over the injury sustained by first choice goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, during Nigeria’s round of 16 match against Cameroon. There is apprehension that Nwabali may not be fit to play in the team’s upcoming quarterfinal match against Angola.
Nwabali was injured after a collision with Cameroon’s Georges-Kevin N’koudou as he went up to catch a cross towards the end of the game, which Nigeria won 2-0.
