The President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Adam Haji Ali Ahmed, has inaugurated the renovation work carried out at the Maroodi-jeex Regional Court, especially the section that emerged from the Terrorist Court. The renovation will play an important role in improving the functioning of the Maroodi-jeex Regional Court, as it is one of the busiest courts, and there was a great need for the reconstruction of a functional building. Additionally, the president also inspected the progress of work at the lower courts, holding meetings with the judges of the Hargeisa District Court, the Maroodi-jeex Regional Court, and the Terrorist Court of Maroodi-jeex.

President Adam Haji Ali Ahmed, at the conclusion of the meeting, first thanked the judges for their good work, and highlighted the importance of the judges attending to their duties diligently every day, ensuring they uphold Islamic principles and the laws of the country. The president urged the judges to exercise their authority in resolving disputes and conflicts consistently, while avoiding all factors that could lead to unrest. He also stressed the importance of judges demonstrating leadership in managing their work responsibilities, to ensure effective performance and to meet the expectations of the society, providing examples of good planning and annual work reports.

Finally, the president advised the judges to follow their working hours to efficiently manage their time, as well as to lead with integrity and in a disciplined manner, in order to handle work responsibilities and improve the quality of justice that society deserves. He also urged them to uphold the ethical values taught by Islamic Sharia and to focus on enhancing their good conduct in all matters.
