By a statement made on March 27, 2024 at the headquarters of the Al Wassat party, the 10 disqualified candidates for the upcoming presidential election on May 6 reject the arguments put forward by the Constitutional Council to invalidate their candidacies and demand “the resumption of the electoral process to ensure a minimum of credibility.”
For these 10 ineligible candidates, allowing the Patriotic Salvation Movement (MPS) to win another mandate through electoral fraud is a crime that the Chadian people do not deserve to live. They intend to take action to prevent the establishment of dictatorship in Chad.
